Tired...

So Tired...

I feel as though I am working in a fog!!  Oh well!

Anyways, I have a few challenges to complete with LCOM, I need to get on those...besides that...another work week is done for me.  I'm off for the next 6 days, Woohoo!! 6 days off!!!

Here is what my house is looking like these days, we are installing hardwood floors and OMG, I'm going insane with the mess..well at least we'll have flooring again.

The floor are looking great, but I sure can't wait until they are done and my living room, kitchen and all bedrooms are back to normal again!!

Well, I'm exhausted, off to bed I go!!

Hard Days Work..

So, yesterday I traded shifts with a co-worker, and we were 4 people short...it was a busy day. But...being a Sunday, we can actually bring non related work items into work...so I decided to scrap.  Literally, I brought a bunch of scrap of paper to work and made a few cards...hehehe!  Seriously though, it was a busy day, but hey I was multi-tasking!! LOL

Forgetful Blogger...

So I have been sorta slacking off on this blog thing....

Anyways, I went to my first crop on Mother's Day weekend, I was sick as a dog, hacking & coughing like crazy...but did I ever have FUN!!! I will so go to another one, I can't wait to actually meet these wonderful ladies again, this time I'll have a voice to speak with...since I've had this cold for a month, it's finally starting to go away, and I am feeling so much better.


I did manage to complete a few things at the crop, which is surprising for me as I'm such a slow scrapper.



So these are the layouts I did at the crop...I'm happy with them, not too crazy about the "Little Monster" one though...I'm just getting used to using colors other than neutrals...gonna take me a little time to get used to it.

I hope everyone had a great Easter!!  We didn't do much, stayed around home mostly, went out for a drive...and of course I forgot my camera!  We went to the wharf in Shediac, and also to visit my brothers new  boxer puppy Lily.  She is so cute!

Well, today I had to vote for someone in Scrap-Ivor!

That was tough..if you don't know what that is...over at the forum LCOM we are playing a little game something like survivor..so far it's pretty fun.  I'm not sure how long I'll last, cause I had a vote against me.  But hey, it's all in fun!  Can't wait to see what our next challenge is.

Long Week

I'm so glad this week is coming to an end...it's been really hard on all of us.  Ryan ended up in the hopsital with pneumonia & RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus), he was so sick.  We had to bring him into the ER twice for them to see how sick he was, the first time, they told us he had a cold.  He hadn't eaten in 3 days, and was running a fever of over 101 for those three days, I just couldn't get the fever to go down.  So we went home.  The next day, he still had not eaten, tylenol & advil not bringing the fever down, and he started to develop a very deep cough...so back we went.  This time the doc listened to us as we explained how he just really was not himself, so he did an xray of his lungs, sure enough there was the pneumonia, then they did the RSV test and it was also present.  Well, that was be begining of our week, we spent the night in the ER, then he was admitted the next day into Pediatrics, the nurses were so good to him (most of them).  He ended up with IV meds, and also they were giving him tylenol every 4 hrs, but they couldn't get the fever to go down either...so keep giving him tylenol.  He lost so much weight, because with all this going on, he hadn't been eating and was dehydrated when we came into the ER...poor little guy now only weighs a 19lbs...he should be almost 25-30lbs!  He's so skinny now...well finally at the end of the week he started to feel better and to eat, after a few rounds of IV meds. 

We are finally home, but now he is reacting to the meds he has to take at home for another week, so back to the docs for new meds, hopefully this type  doesn't make him vomit all over me (I know pretty gross)!!  He's been sleeping quite a bit today, but I'm just going to let him rest, and sleep off this sickness.  Not only did he ended up sick, so did I...Yup me too, I ended up catching something so I am on amoxicillin due to two ear infections & a throat infection...lets just I'm glad this week is done!!

Anyways, on to some good stuff!!

Over at LCOM (Let's capture out Memories) we are playing Scrap-Ivor!!  This is the first week, and so far it's kinda fun...we get a challenge a week and then the team that wins the challenge gets to stay together for another week, the team that looses goes to Tribal Council!! LOL   We'll see how things go!!

Lonely = Venting!!

Have you ever just felt so alone? I do quite a bit...worse today, than other days. I haven't cried or anything, but I sure feel like it.  No one to talk to, no one to understand what I am going thru...I think I need to talk to my doc again, I just feel so sad most of the time.  It's getting harder and harder to hide how I am feeling. I really do need to have more me time, and I do need his support, not his comments all the time.  What is a girl to do?? I just don't know what to do anymore. He doesn't want me to scrap, cause it takes away from me sitting in the living room watching TV with him (yet we don't talk), he makes nasty comments if I want to go out with the girls (for coffee), yet every thursday (when I'm not working) he is drinking with the boys at work and drives home!!!  I think I've just had enough.  It's just like he doesn't think I deserve a life, he thinks he is the only one that is home all the time...funny thing is, I only work four days, then off for 5 days, who's home all that time...ME! When does he take time for him...everyday!!  He gets home from work, then usually sits and watches TV, me I usually have to cook, try and clean (lacking in that department), take care of Ryan...I'm just sooo tired.

I didn't even bother to ask about going to the crop in May...I just did it, I signed up, looking for a motel/hotel..and already have the time off. So as for me going to this crop...he has no say at all...I am going, I need this!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Hope everyone enjoyed their day!!  I had my first day alone, no kids, no hubby...just me!!  I loved it, I surfed online (LCOM), had a 4hr nap, then I went to Michael's & Dollarama.  Picked up some cute little Prima flowers and some Zots...not much but I just couldn't leave without spending something LOL.

I am going to a crop!!!  A spring Crop!

I can't wait, I've never been to one so it should be fun, it's going to be my mother's day gift to me!!  I'm a little nervous about it though, since I won't know anyone there...oh well, I'm sure it won't take long to get to know all the girls from the forum.  I am so excited and it's still over a month away!!  Woohoo!!

Oh, Yeah..went to the movies last night with a girl from work, had a pretty good time...we saw Shutter Island, I was disappointed at the movie, so I'm reading the book now, hope it's better.  The movie was long, and it dragged quite a bit at some parts. Not at all what I was expecting!

Well, it's that time of night...time for bed!  I really didn't do much of anything today, didn't get any scrapping done like I had planned.  But one good thing, I did get out of the house with my mom.  We ended up just going to check out the new Dollarama, which I ended up picking up a few things.  I did get some foam alphas, gonna try them out - Definitly not at good as thickers! LOL

Anyways, it's time for bed...update tomorrow!

OH here's the LO I did the other day, the first one since December. It's not finished yet, but thought I would post it anyways.

Sorry..

for not updated this...I have finally returned to work from Maternity leave, and boys has life been busy.  I really should keep this up, it would be such a great outlet for me, since I am such a loner!!  Seriously, I need to get out of this house, I am always stuck inside with Ryan..never going out without him.  I only wish the hubby understood what it's like to not have any adult time exept for when your at work.  I could ramble on all day about this, but it's not worth it. 

Anyways, I want to go to my first crop in SJ on March 20th, but I don't know if Andy would watch Ryan or not, it's so hard to do anything, I always have to give a reason for things that I want to do. I so want to go to it, I only wish it wasn't so far...the ladies on LCOM are such a close nit group, you can tell how much they care about each other.  It's such a great site!

I've only been able to scrap one thing since December, and it's still not done. LCOM was putting on a cyber crop, but I was working that weekend, but I did manage to start one of the challenges.  One of the girls did a really cute LO in 30mins, well, I decided to try it....took me more than 30mins!  LOL  I have it pretty much completed, but I still haven't figured out what I want the title to be.

Well, I'm off work tomorrow and will try to do some scrapping, hopefully Ryan will be a good little boy and let this mama play a little.  I guess we'll see tomorrow.  I'm off for the night, going to go watch a movie, then start to read my book "Shutter Island", I hear it's quite good!! 

Ryan is now 15months old!! Wow!

Birthdays!

Today my baby turns 1yr old!!

We are having family and friends over to celebrate with cake and ice cream, just a small group, nothing too big, I don't want Ryan to get overwhellemed (however you spell that). 

It's been a few weeks since I have been able to scrap due to me being back to work now...as soon as things are back into a routine, I'll be scrapping like crazy.

I'll share some birthday pics with you tonight when the little one is in bed!  I still can't beleive it's already been a year...Wow!  time sure does go by quick!
