Capturing Our Sketch #7 - use Orange, Black & Purple Card Challenge

Wow! Can you believe this is the last week of October? This weekend the kiddos will be out tricking and treating! In celebration, the card team decided to add the extra challenge of color this time. So, let's use some orange, black and purple on your cards this week and follow Rusha's card sketch. Have fun!

Here is my take on the sketch!

Hope you've enjoyed the DT members takes on the sketch. Now it's your turn. What is your take? Let's see what you do with it and some black, purple and orange! Post your card link to Mr. Linky by Saturday, October 30th at 8PM EST for a chance to be our next GDT for the week of November 7th and 15% off your next LCOM order. Can't wait to see your cards!!!

Here's where you can post your take on the sketch:

LCOM Online Crop was a hit!!

I had a great time with this online crop...I wasn't able to finish all the challenges but I did get a few done.  Here's a few LO's I did for the crop!

This one was from "Colorful words" Challenge.  I used my preggo test from Ryan (not a new test...for those of you who were wondering...no more babies for me unfortunatlty).  This is not the pic I wanted to use as the pic with the two pink lines was not printed...but you get the idea!

This one is from "Color it Krafty" & also for Simply Scrapping's week 2 Sketchy Saturday.

This one is for "Follow Andrea's Fall Sketch", I used picture of Ryan's last Halloween.

And this one is for "That's just Spoooky" challenge...my first little altered item...it's a little plain, but I like it!

Well, that's all for now!  Stay tuned for LCOM's Card Sketch....I will posting a new sketch pretty soon!

LCOM Sketch #58

TGIF! And we have one final sketch from this term's Sketch Team!

This week's sketch comes to you from the ever-talented Guylaine! Guylaine's challenging you to make a layout with a vintage or heritage feel this week.

Come on and join us by creating a layout using Guylaine's sketch and challenge! The prize for October is a gift certificate to myStampBOX donated by Allison.

Wednesdays WoW's (a little late)

Have you been missing them in the LCOM forum? There have been some great ones posted in the forum the past few weeks. Just today Anita posted how to make this cute little bag.

Last week Tanya L posted on how to make a bloodshot eyeball with a sharpie marker and alcohol.

Rusha showed us how to make a background with baby wipes and foodcoloring.

Sandy showed us how to do the stab binding technique.

You can find all the tutorials here. I know how much I love to learn new things and get new ideas. It's great because these are step by step directions. If you are not a member of the forum, it's easy to sign up and it's FREE. And a little birdie told me that we are having an online crop this weekend, so you won't want to miss all the challenges, prizes and fun! Don't forget about the card challenge this week(scroll down). It ends on Saturday. And Ally's sketch on the sketch blog is just amazing!

LCOM Card Challenge - Check this out!!!

Here's Sketch #4, which was made by Rusha and the added extra challenge is to add some bling to your card!!! You can do it!

Check out the blog and see what beautiful creations the DT has come up with for this sketch!!

My First Mini!!

Here it is...the day has come, I decided to try my hand at a mini..I've only just started last night, but here is what I have done so far.  I'll keep posting pics of my progress as I get more done.

The mess begins..I wanted to watch TV while scrapping so I dragged
everything out into my kitchen.

Step 1 - I choose to use 6 (4x6) chipboard peices, then I painted
(Adirondack Dabber in Pitch Black) each ones edge in black.

Step 2 - I cut the PP (I eyeballed the measurments to a bit smaller than the chipboard).
As for pp, I used "Recollection & some Bo Bunny papers.

That's it for now!!
